Out of curiosity.
If you could only have one Harney & Sons tea in your cupboard Which one would you choose? and Why?
Either Boston or Soba Cha; definitely would depend on how many herbal/caffeinated options I also had stocked at the time. Though, I do think Boston is a little more unique to Harney where as I’m sure I could get something like Soba Cha from A LOT of companies.
It would be tough for me to choose, because sometimes a specific tea harvest is way better than other times. So they are ever shifting. It’d probably be either Paris when it was perfect years ago or their Golden Monkey if it was my favorite harvest from years ago.
Not to say changing and shifting tea harvests doesn’t happen to most tea companies and not just Harney… it’s tough not to have that happen. But if you have a really nice flavored version of Paris and then the others just aren’t the same, then you’re remembering that really great flavor.
Interesting! I’m buying two tins of teas from them for someone as a gift and there are so many popular ones it’s hard to choose.
