drank Oolong and Eucommia Bark Tea by Nezha
219 tasting notes

Went to a local restaurant for lunch today and ordered hot tea. They brought out a wooden box with many different bagged tea options. This is the one I chose. I like a good oolong. It is a woody oolong, but clean and fresh flavor. Slightly sweet on its own – no bitterness at all. I wasn’t able to find this company online, so I filled in the info from the package (which I had to take with me so I could log this ;) Found it interesting. So apparently it will make me healthy as well as beautiful and delay senility. BONUS!! Hope I don’t have any weird reactions to the tea :)

Here’s the interesting description:

This product is processed refinedly by modern technology and crafts using a selection of natural materials including genuine Fujian Oolong and Sichuan Eucommia Bark (Cortex Eucommiae). It contains aucubin eucommiol and various kinds of trace elements and vitamins needed by the human body. This product is sweet and fragrant to tastes, with its juice as clear as crystal.

Action: To improve your appearances, to make you healthy and beautiful and to delay senility.

Usage: 2 bags, twice a day to be taken after being infused in hot boiled water. Taken continually for a long time it will give you much comfort.

So…does it taste like the bark, itself, the seeds, leaves, or fruit? Or a combo?

I would say the bark. It kind of tastes a bit like what bark smell like, but in a good way. I’m really digging this tea. I might just have to run over and buy the box they have for sale :)

I’m not old enough to worry about the senility thing yet (my husband and son might say differently), but I’m definitely putting it ON THE LIST.
