drank Rooibos Vanilla Chai by Adagio Teas

I didn’t think that chai teas were for me until I tried this! The aroma is great, as is the taste. The vanilla seems to calm down the spices, which is probably why it’s the only chai I’ve really liked. I think next time I’ll add a bit of sugar, but I was very pleased with this cup.

The smell was nearly sickening, but I was very surprised by how good it tasted. It is sweet, yet not artificial, and flowery. Great as a nightcap.

I really liked this tea. The flavors come together perfectly. It is a great tea to have in the morning to wake you up pleasantly and slowly.

drank Apricot Green by Adagio Teas

This just tasted more like regular green tea than apricot green tea. I ordered a sample to try and get myself to like green teas, but I was still put off by the overwhelming grassy taste. If the apricot flavor had been more present it might have been better.

I agree. I got just enough for a cup on a tea swap so I couldn’t tweak my steeping parameters, but I’ve tried steeping 2 flavored greens (Den’s Tea’s apple sencha and Adagio’s artichoke green) using the ratio of 4.5tsp of leaf steeped in 6oz of 160 degree water for for 1.5min and had really good luck w/ both of them so I think I’m going to buy myself a full sample to try steeping this one the same way.

drank Vanilla by Adagio Teas

Like most of Adagio’s flavored black teas, the aroma was overpowering when I opened the tin, but the taste was weak. I liked it, but I would still prefer a stronger flavor.

Have you tried their vanilla oolong? I prefer that over this one so I was just wondering what your opinon was. I’ve been pretty impressed w/ all of their flavored oolongs I’ve tried.

drank Spiced Apple Chai by Adagio Teas

The first time I prepared this, I added milk and sugar and really did not like it. On a whim today, I decided to try it again, this time without milk. It was much better, but I’m still disappointed by the lack of apple flavor. I’ll finish my sample tin, but I probably won’t be ordering any more.

I steep mine in apple juice:) It’s good straight or w/ 1TB of caramel creamer.

That’s a great idea! I’ll try that next time.
