i got a decaf. i like how smooth it is.

not bad. but nothing to write home about either. it could use some more flavor. but i wouldn’t mind having it again :)

i love earl grey. but the flavor is a bit stronger than i would like.
will try this when mixing a pot for 2 or more, and mixing it with another black tea.

i like that it uses only natural flavoring :)

they also have this bagged. but i couldnt taste/smell the jasmine very much…so im wondering is there really that huge a difference between the loose leaves in the tin and that bagged ones when they have the same name?

i will try steeping with 2 bags next time.

my first steep: hardly tasted anything. astringent feel – i guess it needed a rinse :)

action: boil the leaves in pot of water, added another teaspoon of leaves, steeped longer

2nd steep: i can taste something. it is not bitter. so longer steep is good and not harmful :)

I love the scent of this tea!

The longer this is brewed the better because it is a tisane :) Nice enough on its own but you might want to add a bit of sweetener.

got this at an asian store. tastes more like wood than tea. did not sense any licorice. but maybe its merits lie in the health benefits :P

it is jasmine enough for me ^^ not too keen on the green component of the tea anyhows. for the 2nd steep, i combined it with loose chamomile that i had earlier today. nice combination :D

I’m not really much of a green tea person..maybe because I am not patient enough to wait for a minute after boiling? This one turns out okay for me most of the time but I’m excited to try good green tea that I’ve only recently read about.

I turn the kettle off long before it boils. Saves time and works for me.

I often use just under boiling water for my greens as a bit of a “cheat”, though I do not mind waiting for water to cool either.

yssah

hm..ive thought of that. haha, was wondering if there was a special reason that the water had to boil. thanks guys!

the main “special reason” I can think of is if there is any concern of water purity. Other then that, it should be fine

the flavor was stronger than i expected. i dont usually steep my teas for too long, it tasted better by the 2nd and 3rd steeps :)

i tried mixing it with a plain black tea and steeping for a shorter time. tasted better.

i love how this flavor mellows down and mixes with my other teabags in one mug :)

Chai was my first love, and later fell hard for Earl Grey. Will always have a soft spot in my heart for tisanes. It has been a while since I last joined and now I am more into matcha but still into other teas most definitely.

Swapped some teas here before with the LIT brand and had to change name to be registered and now selling loose leaf tea in the Philippines as Khesed :)
