Got this tea today as my first tea from Teavana. I made it using the Teavana Perfectea Maker. I’m on the road traveling, so I wasn’t able to use boiling water—but the tea was still delicious using water heated the microwave. 2nd steeping was a little bitter, but I didn’t add as much water—I’ll probably try it again tomorrow morning. I’m also excited to mix this with a Dragonwell tea I have from an organic shop I visited a few weeks ago. definitely worth the $10.00!

you probably shouldn’t use boiling water with this tea anyway. It’s a personal choice, of course, but, for me, the only teas I use boiling water on are black teas, and I use boiling water on guayusa, yerba mate, rooibos and honeybush, so long as they are not in blends with other herbs.

Hi there, Mr. Taylor. If you want to have some samples of tea without spending a lot of money, take a look at my cupboard and let me know what you’d like to try out or if it’s confusing…I can select some different types of tea and send them to you. Many of us share samples or we’d go broke! I send samples to college students, people starting out with tea and so on. Check me out. No cost either. I get a lot of my samples from tea companies. I’m the grandma in the room! Take care, Bonnie

I love this particular tea. I mix it with Teavana’s Strawberry Lemonade. It’s just spectacular. I’m also happy to send you a sample of that if you like. I have a TON of it. =)

I’m a new tea lover, but excited about the possibilities in flavored tea, freshly brewed iced teas over the summer, as well as tea in baking—both as a flavor and finding baked goods to accompany different flavors and types.
