Increasing rating for this a little. Cold-brewed this last night with a bit of honey to sweeten – so good! Much better than the hot version. The sweetness makes the grape flavor come out more, perfect for summertime

Iced 8 min or more

Happy Canada Day!! After spending a day outside in the beautiful sunshine, came home to this cold brewed tea. Maybe it’s just the heat, but this is super refreshing! I love love love jasmine teas and I definitely don’t feel guilty putting a large teabag of this into iced tea since it was not too expensive. This is very lightly jasmine, mostly green tea. One of my favs hot, but turned out pretty good cold as well =)

I usually use this to mix with flavored black teas to “dilute” the flavoring a bit. Especially for fruity teas that are mostly fruit, I will usually mix 1:1 ratio of this to make my drink more tea-flavored. Not sure if that makes any sense..

Anyway, this may be the 1st or 2nd time I’ve had this by itself. It’s one of the few teas I keep at work and really need some caffeine before meeting with the boss. It reminds me of tea I had when I was younger – the kind that needs sugar and milk. Now I can drink it without sweetening, but it is a little bitter. Definitely keeping this one around though.. it’s great mixed with other stuff.

Picked this one up on my way home a while ago. Initial smell and taste is just black tea, kinda disappointed. Cooled a bit (but still hot) I started to pick up very subtle hints of lychee. Very light, almost floral taste and not fruity at all. Quite like this so I’m leaving it at work for regular drinking :)

Been drinking more iced teas these days as the weather is starting to warm up (or go crazy in the form of hail/thunderstorms/sun that is vancouver). Smells and tastes super peach and floral – quite refreshing actually.

Cold brewed this for 24 hours. Since it’s herbal, I can drink it at night without worrying that I won’t be able to fall asleep. It came out a beautiful red colour and smells like citrusy juice! Fooled by the smell, I thought this would taste sweet, but I quickly learned this was not the case. I added ~1tsp of honey and it is pretty good! There’s a faint hint of something in the background that I don’t really like.. not sure what it is though – possibly the lemongrass? Too herb-y for my liking.

First time cold brewing! Left it in the fridge for 2 days (because I’ve been really busy and kinda forgot about it) and it turned a nice golden colour. Smells more like juice than tea, and tastes mostly like mango – yummmmmm

Preparation
Iced

Never enjoyed mint in tea before – too much like toothpaste or gum? But this one doesn’t remind me of those at all. Still deciding whether I like this or not..
