Ok firstly, my packet doesnt look all twisty and curly and stuff like it does in the picture. very disappointed. but all the same the tea is good. its actually very good. Its a very delicate tea. delicate is definitely the perfect word for it. This is probably my favourite jasmine tea.

This is a nice unflavoured oolong. Its quite a dark oolong with a bit of a black tea taste. cant say i really taste the caramel or sweetness like they say but but all round very refreshing and oolongy.

Firstly, the description of this tea is just gross. Also, since when are eyelids generally discarded?

anyway, as gross as this sounds…. ITS AMAZING! I dont know what kind of fruit is in it, and i dont care as long as i can keep drinking it. I cant even describe the fruit because its not like any fruit im familiar with. I originally got it as a sample and bought it straight away. and when its gone i will buy it again.

Angrboda

If memory serves me it has something to do with a Bhuddist legend. The monk was meditating but he kept falling asleep, so in frustration he cut his eyelids off and threw them away, and where they landed tea trees grew, and he then used the tea to help him stay awake while meditating.

Or something of that sort. It’s just off the top of my head. I’d go look it up, but the book I think I read it in first is all the way down at the other end of the flat… ;)

tina

he really should have skipped the cutting off his own eyelids part and gone straight to the tea part.

Angrboda

No, I mean tea trees grew where his eyelids landed because of the eyelids landing there, they weren’t there before. :)

tina

what im saying is that i would try caffeine before resorting to cutting off my eyelids. Or was this the first ever tea? or just the first eyelid tea? cos normal tea would do for keeping him awake.

Angrboda

First ever tea, supposedly. :)

wombatgirl

Per the current description on their website, it says this is mango. I’ve got a cup cooling next to me, so I’ll be trying it soon. It smells AMAZING

“Firstly, the description of this tea is just gross.” Seriously! I had to re-read it twice to make sure it didn’t actually have anyone’s eyelids in it. Eew.

drank Miss Jasmin # (Sharp) by Lupicia

Seeing as i absolutely love miss jasmin flat, I thought I would love this too. but i dont really. Its alright, its very fresh tasting but its just not something i would buy again. The green tea is fine but i find the flavour to be more mandarin than orange like it claims and its just overall a bit too citrusy. although it is a citrus flavoured tea, so maybe if im not a citrus fan the fault really lies with me and not the tea. I imagine to a citrus lover, the combination of the jasmine and orange would probably be a very good one, but im just not the hugest fan. Its not the worst tea ive drunk and its not the best. Its fairly ordinary.

drank Momo Oolong Super Grade by Lupicia

I may have reviewed this already, but i cant be bothered checking so im reviewing it again. So i bought this tea from lupicia and my order seemed to come with a sample of it aswell… a little bit strange as i think it defeats the purpose of a sample and i would have preferred a different tea to the one i bought but i guess someones mind was otherwise engaged when packing my order. but as for the tea, its delicious. a very delicate oolong and a nice fresh peach taste, not a really sweet artificial peach taste, well maybe a little artificial but delicious all the same. I know its not the cheapest of teas out there but i think its worth the price and when im out i will probably re-purchase it.

drank Orchid Oolong by Mighty Leaf Tea

The first time i tried this, i will be honest, i was a little disappointed. but the second time, i really quite enjoyed it. It doesnt have much of a flavour (apart from an oolong flavour) while you sip it, but it has a delicious coconut after taste which is like coconut cream or fresh coconut, not dessicated coconut. The coconut cream taste is beautiful its very delicate and creamy but not really fruity. It reminds me of the fresh coconuts i drank while in thailand. I dont really understand the name though. I was expecting a more delicate floral taste rather than a coconut one. but i definitely like this tea.

drank Pear Caramel by Mighty Leaf Tea

This tastes exactly like the first monk pear i ever tried. Ive since been trying to find one similar ever since. and now i have.

I do wish i could taste the caramel more and that there was more of a sweet creamy taste. It is absolutely delicious but not what i expected or was hoping for.

drank Terrific Toffee by T2

So this tea really smells amazing. It smells like toffee but there is also almost a candied cherry smell lingering somewhere in there too. It also tastes quite like it smells which is definitely a good thing.

Its quite strong tasting, which is what i like in a sweet, creamy tasting tea. Im really enjoying this.

Its Blackcurrant! That is what the B is!

Winter Salo

Is this closer to an earl grey or a raspberry rush? I love berry flavoured black tea but am not so keen on floral teas and am a bit apprehensive about this one.
