Im kinda disappointed. it smells amazingly caramelly. but there doesnt seem to be any caramel taste to it. I dont know where the caramel went. it was there before being brewed then…poof!…it was gone.

Theres something lovely but slightly unsettling about drinking a sparkly tea. And yes it does actually sparkle. The silver cachous actually give the tea a glittery sheen.

sparkles aside, it is a lovely tea. It has such a strong toasty flavour with a lovely sweet apricot taste as well. I love the really strong black base to it. I love this base lupicia uses (I think its the same base as cookie and joyeux noel – two of my favourite teas).

Dont steep for too long or it will be awfully strong.

I got a free sample of this tea today with my order from lupicia. The oolong base is quite nice. Although the Amanatsu is Japanese (I believe) it tastes like a Taiwanese oolong. The amanatsu flavour is very subtle and delicate. Its almost more of an after taste than a real flavour in the tea. As Im not a huge fan of citrusy teas I quite like the subtlety of it. Id consider buying this.

I really like this tea. Its really refreshing and sweet but its not too sweet like a lot of honeybush/fruit teas. Its quite nice.

This tea is quite nice. It has more of a cocoa taste than a sweet chocolate taste. Its quite good.

So sweet and tasty. I love this tea.
