I have drunk a lot of tea today! Can anyone say tea drunk…..lol

Apples are delicious in tea. This one is no exception to that rule. The pistachio adds a nice flavour, a sweet nuttiness (haha, nutty like me!). But then wait for it……rose?……hmmm, don’t like that as much. I think this would be better without roses but I guess it might also be not quite as sweet.

Anyway, this isn’t my fav apple tea but it is still very tasty. I don’t know if I would get more when my 20g sample is finished or not. I will have to see when I sipdown.

I put some in the fridge to chill, and it does redeem itself a little there. Because it is very refreshing.

And it resteeps fairly well.

What ARE your favorite apple teas? I’ve been looking for a good one!

You are tempting me to order the apple tea that Emeric Harney designed for Harney and Sons….

Unfortunatly my favourite apple tea was seasonal and no longer available, it was Baked Apple from DAVIDsTEA. My other favourite is from my local tea shop. Coincidently, it is Apple Pistachio Rooibos (but there is no rose).

DT does have a “Big Apple” blend that is slightly tart, but I enjoy it as an iced tea.

There isn’t really that many apple blends available that I have tried, but the holiday season is coming up.

Bio

Hello,
I am a nurse. I have numerous hobbies: reading, crocheting, crafting, card making, scrapbooking, photography, shopping, and of course drinking TEA!

I started drinking loose leaf tea in Dec. 2010 when I went into a DavidsTea for the first time and have been hooked ever since! My favourite is probably white tea, but I also love black and oolong. I also like a nice relaxing rooibos or herbal in the evening. On Sundays, I like to treat myself and make a tea latte.

My favourite flavours are nutty, vanilla, chocolate, jasmine, tropical, fruity, earl grey.
My dislikes are lavender, rose, hibiscus, banana, and straight green or overly vegetal teas.

I am admittedly fairly generous in my rating scale. Most of my teas I rate at 90 and above, and would re-stock these teas.
Anything under 90 I probably wouldn’t re-stock unless I found a great price.
