56 Tasting Notes
I had this for a while but didn’t have a strainer or infuser, so I just smelled it. The day I got it, I opened the bag while Skyping a friend and basically went nuts. “You’d think Cas would smell like cheeseburgers and body odour, but this smells like… his wings. This smells like Eden.”
So, I got an infuser. Shortly thereafter, I got a cold, and thought, well, my little blue-eyed healing angel can take care of that. While I could tell I wasn’t getting the whole taste, it was amazing. Fruity, with a gentle spice that’ll clear up your sinuses.
Preparation
This has been my basic go-to tea for a while now. Making it in this dratted hot pot in my new house, which doesn’t have a stove… Temperature is a complete guess, as I’ve figured out a method to keep it from getting too hot and steeping too long/getting bitter, but it’s not a precise method.
Preparation
Had an unexpected panic attack, this was the first thing I turned to after queueing up Doctor Who and getting a brownie. This just happened to be the first tea I grabbed. Same preparation as before, but added some room-temperature water to the cup before pouring in the hot-pot water. It went funny at the end.
Preparation
Boiled water in hot pot. Wish I could figure out how to keep it from getting so hot. Maybe if I just boiled some and then added non-boiling water to it… Used Nestle bottled water. Smells VERY GOOD. Sort of lost track of how long it was steeped. Burnt my tongue as always.
I want this tea just for the geek factor.
