From Zhi Tea

Ingredients: Chinese Bai Mudan tea*, wild blueberries*, blue cornflowers*, and blueberry flavor*
(*Organic)

Zhi White Blueberry is crafted exclusively from our organically grown bai mudan white tea leaves blended with org blueberries, org blue cornflowers, and org botanical blueberry extract.

This sensational tea is not only chock-full of antioxidants but totally delivers in the taste department. Rather than covering the delicate body of the tea itself, our blend merely enhances and reveals even more of the natural qualities of the tea.

We purchase the org-cert blueberries from Sunset Valley Organics. They have no added sugar, oils, or sulfer. As far as we know, we are the only company in the US to use this level of quality in our berries and fruit in tea blends. We always have, we always will.

Indulge, revitalize, relax. Pure goodness from Zhi.

This tea can be re-steeped at least twice with superb results!

I really enjoy this blueberry tea! It’s a good equal mix of white tea flavor and blueberry. The blueberry is very sweet and smooth, not tart at all. I could see myself buying more of this one.

This is a LOVELY tea! Thank you, TEAEQUALSBLISS! This is the second white tea EVER for me (I know, can you believe it?) and this one really delivers. It is smooth, it is light, it is sweet, fresh, and delightful. The mix is so beautiful you will want to put a small amount in a glass bowl for display.

This has bai mudan white tea, blueberries, and malva flowers. You can clearly see the ingredients. This tea smells like blueberries. I steeped the two for two minutes or something like that. This taste like a nice white tea and blueberries that are not too tart yet weak either. This is pretty good.

SIpdown from VariaTEA. This is nice. I don’t often have white teas in my cupboard but i’m not opposed to them. I quite like the refreshing blueberry in this one, even if it is a lighter tea. :) Nice to try and sample, but while i enjoyed it – i still prefer a blueberry black :)

Tea Swap Sample Sipdown Catch-Up! 1 of 4 (9)

This sample is from my swap with VariaTEA!

Zhi Tea is actually native to Austin. I haven’t been to their location yet, but I definitely plan to go!

This one’s just okay. The bai mudan base is smooth with soft hay and oat notes. There’s a bit of dry autumn leaf flavor as well. According to the description, the blueberry here is from botanical blueberry extract. But somehow, to me, it still tastes somewhat candylike or artificial.

It’s not bad, but not great either. I do like the idea of white tea and blueberry together though, as blueberry oatmeal is one of my favorite flavors.

Zhi Tea is still open? Sheesh, I tried ONE of their teas ages ago!

Tabby

I got one of their teas in my Sips By box recently. They must be.

VariaTEA

Both Zhi teas I have tried were from SipsBy.

Yes, they’re still open according to Google Maps. :)

I added this to a tea smoothie made with raspberries. Though it seemed at times I could sort of taste blueberry, most flavor was drowned out by the tart raspberries. So I will have to try this another time on it’s own.
