Tea leaves are large beautiful greens with reddish purple saw-tooth edges. The aroma of the wet leaf is powerful with hints of grapefruit and flowers. The flavor of this tea is good, but unfortunately was a little bit weak. Perhaps I will try to use more leaf next time. Grapefruit zest really does come through in the flavor. Mouth feel is soft but with a little ‘grip’. Overall not a bad tea. I would recommend this if you’re looking for something that’s a bit unique compared to the traditional dan cong teas. If you take the time to enjoy the aroma of wet tea leaves, this one is worth that experience alone.
