From Yunnan Sourcing

"Spirit of Tea" is the most premium regular production that was produced by Mengku Rongshi since 2009. It is entirely wild arbor tea!

Mengku Rongshi tea factory is well-known for its de-centralized processing "huts" that allow the tea to be quickly processed in small batches on the tea mountain. The time it takes to bring the fresh leaves to town from remote areas is too long leading to excessive wilting.

Spirit This is one of the highest grade tea cakes that has ever been produced by the Mengku Rongshi tea factory and is a limited quantity production! It is entirely wild arbor tea hand processed and stone-pressed.

Sipdown!

I got a sample of this from Ubacat a while back, and I’m drinking this now to celebrate something:

I finally have a full inventory of my tea cabinet! Over 150 teas total, yikes. I’ve also updated my cupboard here on Steepster to reflect what’s in my cabinet, though there were some teas I just half-assed trying to find a match. Nevertheless, I’ve got over 150 varieties and nearly 7.5 pounds of loose leaf. Holy hell.

The Xmas holiday has been great so far – relaxing, catching up on fun administrivia like this. I can’t wait to dig in and make a dent in my stash!

OMGsrsly

You have half as much tea as me. I’m at just over 7 kg. _

LOL that face did not work. Whoops.

This was my morning tea and hubby shared it with me. It gave me a good energy boost. I ended up on a big cleaning spree afterwards.

There was no bitterness in this tea at all. After two quick rinses I brewed 10, 10, 15, 20, 25, 25 , 30

I think my favourite one was the first infusion when I could taste fruity but it was very light. All the infusions were great though with a nice fruity apricot flavour

I opened my sample this morning. I didn’t pick up bitterness either, but found more musky sweet syrupy notes along with some apricot. There’s a lot going on in this tea, but I need a few more sessions before I can write a review.
