From Yannoko Tea

Da Wu Ye, or Big Dark Leaf, is just that. Long, lightly oxidized leaves produce a medium bodied, floral heavy soup with a light orchid aroma. With just the lightest amount of tannins, this tea is highly refreshing and approachable for those who don’t like bitterness. This tea will easily handle 10 gongfu style steeps.

Song Lin and his family have been producing organically grown Dancong oolong for close to 80 years in Wudong Village, Chaozhou, the birthplace of Phoenix oolong. And they do fine a job of it!

Preparation Method

For two people.

Amount of tea :4g

Water temperature:95℃

Water amount:about 120ml

Steep duration:1st ~10 sec. Steep for slightly longer for proceeding steeps.
