From Yanabah Tea

We mixed our Traditional Navajo Tea with the best mint we could find. Enjoy this updated take on a Navajo classic. Caffeine-free.

I searched far and wide to find high-quality mint that would measure up to our Navajo Tea. I found it in Dalton, Ohio at Mint Brook Meadow farm. From there I focused on finding the right blend. I chose a combination of spearmint & peppermint in just the right amount to enhance, but not overpower, the natural taste of Navajo Tea. The result is a refreshing new spin on the traditional drink I grew-up with. Yanabah would love it! Add a dash of agave nectar for a sweet floral accent.

I had a headache and stomach ache last night and my throat’s a tad sore today so this seemed like a good choice to try. I love Steepster ‘cause there’s no way I’d have ever known about it otherwise. It’s nice—it seems navajo tea has a slightly sweet, earthy, grassy character, light and not one-note, that builds as you drink. The mint’s soothing, medicinal tasting. I’m curious how this would play with other teas, if it’d get swallowed up or serve as a nice complement.

Yum. I like this better than the plain tea.

I like Navajo tea. I like mint. Together? Meh. It’s ok but I prefer the Navajo tea straight. Which is a little surprising because it has a natural mintiness that I’d expect would lend itself to blending. This is a sipdown that I probably won’t restock.
