From Whittard of Chelsea

The fruity aroma and subtle notes of pinewood and plum make Keemun Tea an ideal choice for the morning. Originally used as part of an English breakfast blend, it is now prized as a single estate tea.

It comes from the Keemun region within the Anhui Province of China. It was first made by a failed civil servant who went against the local tradition of producing green tea to create an outstandingly refreshing brew, which today is one of the most popular black tea varieties in China.
