From Whispering Pines Tea Company

Quick sips: Stunningly rich and complex black tea, with silky honey notes weaving through a base of stonefruit and cocoa. This is a gorgeously made Keemun and I highly recommend it to anyone that loves this style of black tea!

Pre-Qing Ming: Qing Ming is a festival held on the 15th day after the spring equinox in China (either April 4th or April 5th each year). Teas (in particular green teas) picked prior to this date are generally considered to be the highest quality harvest of the year. When tasting our Pre-Qing Ming teas, it’s not hard to see why!

A more thorough description will be available soon after I’ve spent some more time with this incredible tea!

For some reason I never put this tea to my cupboard, or I have removed it accidentaly? Nevermind…

This tea is great, but somehow quite basic. Prepared western and all I got from derk, thank you a lot!

I noticed mostly tobacco notes with cocoa and leather notes. While tastes were complex, it was quite light and not much amusing. While drinking, there was one extra note — raisins; but not much present, just like a backbone.

I wonder what I am lacking today foggy morning?

A temperamental lark; I never could get this tea to sing.

Ever swig down a tasty tea so fast you didn’t take good mental notes for reviewing purposes? This one is nearly gone, and I enjoyed it immensely, but about the only descriptors I can grab are leather and cocoa. Even the cool remaining half cup smells good! (Thanks, derk!)

Nattie

Being too wrapped up in a tea to take notes is definitely a good sign!
