The Hotel I stayed at over the weekend had these tea bags as part of their Continental Breakfast offerings. I must say this was a really good bagged chai! I was VERY Surprised at the chai flavor! It’s really good! I must say I am a fan! The spices blended really well together and it taste much like a loose leaf chai! It was yummy!

About 2 years ago I got a can of this tea and it has taken that long to sip down 300 grams. I added ginger or cinnamon to some cups to make it a bit easier to sip down. This tea was not bad enough to throw out, and it wasn’t good enough to drink many cups on its own. I suppose it wasn’t really that bad as I drank it all, but I’m sure I can find a better chai to drink.
Cardamom and clove notes stand out, and although I tried various amounts of leaf and steep times, I couldn’t make this tea bitter. If it had a touch more cinnamon or ginger, I might be tempted to find the asian grocer where I purchased and get another can, but as it is I’ll let it lie.
Now its on to my next sipdown so I can order more tea!!!

Oof, 300g! I won’t even buy from sellers that only sell in 100g packages anymore!

I drink a lot of tea, so it didn’t phase me when I bought it, but it did take a while to finish :)

I bought this at an Indian grocery, just browsing around. I didn’t realize it was bagged until I’d got it home and opened it up; this discovery bummed me out at first, though I’m not sure why. Anyhow, it’s really a pleasing tea! Nice and spicy, and the cinnamon doesn’t overwhelm the other spices. It’s my go-to tea at work.

A very good Indian style chai in bag- not pre-sweetened like American style chai.
