Bountiful golden tips complement the dark brown, well-made leaves in this exemplary 2016 selection from the Doomni Estate. The aroma is sweet and malty with toasty hints. The ruby-copper cup is hearty and complex, with a velvety mouth feel and rich notes of malt and cocoa. A hint of spice and notes suggestive of Burgundy linger into the finish.
