I do believe this is my very first Budlabeta Estate Tea that I have tried. I love the smell of this Assam. It’s hearty! The flavor is quite sturdy, I like that, too. It’s a tad bitter but nothing I can’t handle. After a while I realize that it contributes to the over all flavor. It’s of medium-strong strength for a black tea and the aftertaste is of dried fruit. Very nice!

Backlog:

Thank you TeaEqualsBliss for sending me some of this Assam to try.

A nice Assam! Malty, hearty … a really rich and flavorful cuppa. Mildly astringent … I expected a bit more astringency from an Assam. Bold! A good way to wake up.
