I feel like this tea has seen better days. It has this weird taste that I’ve experienced in two or three other teas, one of which was an oolong, another was black. It’s hard to describe, but its a kinda fishy metallic quality. Tis stale me thinks. Plus the leaf quality isnt that great, lots of stems, small broken leaves :( Me thinks I shall take the liberty to dispose of this and replace it with another oolong. For the good of the box. Glad to not be rating these.

Yuck, metallic is not a flavour I enjoy tasting in tea…

Thanks TeaEqualsBliss!

So I figure the water from the coffee/hot water dispenser in the lobby here is filtered or cleaned in some way…this tasted fine. Meanwhile I was just about to clean my Takeya glass bottle out in the sink and the water in the cap was just NOT LOOKING LIKE WATER. So gross.

This is a nice sweet oolong, I was getting a lot of buttery notes from it. It almost reminds me of a green tea even though it’s clearly an oolong.

I still need to work on the ratios with my shaker but yeah, I didn’t bring a scale which would make it immensely easier and I think I’m already annoying with having to have tea in the first place so I’ll do what I can do.

A delightful Oolong. Sweet and smooth. Pleasant floral notes throughout. It starts off sweet, and about mid-sip, there is a slightly sour fruit note that pops in there just to lighten the sweetness a bit. The finish is soft and sweet – the sweetness lingers.

Very nice.

This is a backlogged tasting note of this tea, which I got from LiberTeas.

I very much enjoyed the lightness of flavor on this one. It unfortunately did not make a particularly strong impression, so I cannot provide many more details beyond that. I have enough to try it again a couple more times, so I’ll provide a more accurate rating/review then. In the meantime, I’ll leave it without a number rating!

I am being very bad with keeping up with my tasting notes, and how else can I be sure which of LiberTEAS’ teas I have tried?

This is my third cup of tea today. One was an old favourite (three lemon green), one I am reserving comment on until I have it again (a mate, which I had never tried before), and this one is just delicious. I will definitely be resteeping the leaves when I’m done this cup – this tea is so pleasant and sweet! I actually expected it to be slightly more earthy from the smell but it wasn’t at all. The aftertaste almost reminds me of Dragonwell somehow…
