Nope! Not for me.

Smells like Pledge®. Tastes somewhat better. To be fair, this is the kind of tea that always needs milk.

Okay, I’m having mixed feelings about this tea. I just brewed a cup and steeped it for about 4 minutes.

It smelled like a cleaning product.

Then I added some honey thinking it might taste better- hell no. Now it tastes like sweetened pledge lemon wipes.

Then out of curiosity I added some milk- WOW!! Huge difference, it’s almost ridiculous. Now it almost tastes like a very smooth earl grey. I can see myself drinking this if I’m in the mood for something creamy and lemony, it’s wonderful.

This is one of those teas that REQUIRES milk.

Without milk or cream, the lemon is overpowering. The “natural” lemon flavoring is probably the herb, lemon myrtle. Adding some half and half and honey, the lemon is tamed somewhat and the tea becomes quite pleasant, even tasty, like a lemon meringue pie.

Tastes like lemons.
I drank it at 8am.
I felt like I was drinking a Corona beer with a plate of lemons.
I don’t drink beers at 8am, and this tea gave me a few butterflies in my stomach.
I was hoping to enjoy this tea – Since Twinnings Mint tea is awesome.
I’ll brew some cold to see if it improves.

8/16/12 I drank this again, added a pinch of sugar and milk and pow! It tasted great for breakfast! I’m upping the rating for this one.

This was good, but not great. Definitely a lot of lemon flavor as others mentioned, although not as strong as I expected even after a generous steeping time. The black tea flavor still comes through below the lemon, but it’s a bit overpowered. I added a pump of sweetener and that was a good choice.

This seems like it could make a brilliant iced tea. It’s basically an Arnold Palmer even without adding any lemonade! Since it’s not wow-ing as a hot tea, I might do this with the remainder of my tea bags.

Labelled as ‘black tea with lemon’. Just like Lady Grey or Blossom Earl Grey, or— any of the Twinings citrus teas, it gets strong very quickly, and just tastes like lemon. That’s all.
