Today the expert blenders at Twinings have combined these two great flavours for a lively and enjoyable herbal tea experience.

This is not a tea I would typically choose to buy in the supermarket. I am only trying it as I got a bag in my free Twinings sampler pack that I got in the mail.

As soon as you put the water in, it appears cloudy, and there’s a very strong ginger smell – not so much lemon. Despite the strong smell, the flavour was not as off-putting as I had anticipated it to be, although there’s an interesting aftertaste.

Like some others have said, I think this tea could be good with some honey in it if you’re feeling unwell. It’s not my type of tea though.

This is a fairly nice tea. I drank it way too much (several times a day) and got over it, but it’s good. It’s pretty strong on the ginger, I feel, and then the next note is really lemongrass (rather than lemon). Needs more lemon, but otherwise, I think it’s good. I drank it sweetened or else it just tasted really wrong.

I love this tea. I drink this many nights after dinner, and it really calms me down. I usually leave the the tea bag in my mug as I drink, so that the tea will get stronger as I get down to finishing it. It is good straight, but a little honey adds another element of flavor.

Pretty good, and not as strong as most of the other lemon and ginger types of tea which I’ve had before.

Way easier than boiling my own fresh ginger and the lemon is nicely balanced. The ginger has a nice, zingy aftertaste so I like to drink mine slowly =) Also refreshing cold with ice!

I’ll only drink this if I have a cold, and with honey.

Delicious and very refreshing. Particularly gingery, especially when allowed to steep for a minute or two.
