From Trader Nicks Tea Company

A golden celebration in its own right! Celebratory black tea blend with Florida citrus and a touch of vanilla and gold iridescent sparkle. Available for a limited time

Tasting Notes: orange | lime | vanilla

Trader Nicks is taking part in celebrating 50 years of the most magical place on Earth! Our Iridescent tea is bursting with color and flavor. Upon the first look at this celebratory tea blend, you can see ribbons of blue cornflower and gold calendula petals; also chunks of golden Florida orange peel complete the look. The taste is of strong Florida citrus: lemon, lime and orange, along with an underlying smoothness of vanilla. The brewed cup of tea is a beautiful amber color and shimmers gold from the gold sprinkles in the mix!

Treat yourself and loved ones to a bag of this limited time tea treat. We plan on having our Iridescent tea blend available for as long as the Magic Kingdom is celebrating their golden anniversary!

To best see the glitter in your cup, shine a light on it to see it sparkle.

Ingredients: black tea, orange peel, pineapple, bergamot, lime flavor, blue cornflowers, gold sparkle sugar, calendula petals

Sipdown! (30 | 110)

The other tea from my first subscription package.

I actually really enjoyed this one. It tastes like the intersection of a mild Earl Grey and some kind of creamy lemon dessert. Apparently it’s actually lime, but I’m getting a lemon vibe. It’s quite mild overall, not strongly flavored, but a really nice mellow, sweet and desserty treat for the afternoon. There’s a touch of glitter, but luckily it’s not too much, and it’s glittery sugar instead of dust, so it doesn’t make a mess everywhere!

Would consider ordering this one, although I think I like Dammann’s Noël à Venise better. But it’s been a while since I last had that one…

Fun Fact: Lime flavouring is often added to lemon flavoured tea blends in place of or in addition to lemon flavouring because it’s so commonly misinterpreted as lemon.

It’s weird, they don’t mention vanilla flavoring in the ingredients even though it’s mentioned in the description…

Roswell, I’ve noticed that in the small print before, myself!
