From Trader Nicks Tea Company

Stop by Tony’s for the best tea in house! Rich and creamy tiramisu flavored rooibos with cocoa shells, chamomile and marigold petal spaghetti.

Tasting Notes: cocoa | creamy | espresso

One sip of this tasty dessert tea and you will be seeing stars in your eyes, just like Tramp & Lady! What better way to finish a romantic dinner than with tiramisu, the famous Italian dessert. This layered, creamy and sweet delicacy traditionally has flavors of cocoa and coffee and is the perfect after dinner sweet treat. We have replicated this dessert in our tea by using a base of creamy, caffeine-free rooibos, cocoa shells, coffee flavor, and a bit of chamomile to aid in the relaxing nature of a bella notte. We have even added calendula petals to resemble spaghetti.

Ingredients: rooibos, chocolate flakes, roasted cocoa shell, chamomile, hazelnut brittle pieces, flavor, coffee beans, calendula blossoms

This is supposed to be tiramisu flavored rooibos, and I’ve had a lot of good coffee teas lately, so I was looking forward to this. I taste rooibos and alcohol-tasting chocolate flavoring. In the aftertaste, I detect a hint of coffee. The second time I had this, the alcohol flavor was a lot more present, and it was really too much for me. It smells so strongly of alcohol too. I’ve now had this four times, and I think I’ll have to pass along the rest of the bag. I just can’t get over the alcohol flavor.
