From The Teaguy

The Teaguy has been blending chai since the late 90’s. Getting a masala blend to be balanced, rich and smooth takes some skill. Through numerous years of tweaking we have achieved a chai which Ghandi himself might have coveted.

Sipdown! As it’s on the verge of raining here, I opted to make this as a latte and it all came together. I was bad and snuck some almond extract into my 2% milk before frothing it, added a teaspoon of clover honey to the steeped tea, and what I have is a lovely snowflake Nordic mug packed with almonds, honey, and spices. It’s August and I’m partying like it’s December.

Thanks again to the TeaGuy for the lovely sample! I am a total fan of this company and recommend that everyone check them out. I will certainly be placing an order sometime to pick up a couple things I got to try, as well as a couple new things to me that are catching my eye as I read about them.

I want rain…sigh….they keep saying it’s going to happen, and it hasn’t.
Maybe I should go out into my garden and do a rain dance?
Or just have another cup of tea and take a hot bubble bath…

Here there is that cool heaviness of rain hanging in the air. It’s a nice change to be wearing flannel pjs in the daytime rather than sheltering in the humidity as we’ve been doing lately.

Also, that combo sounds delicious. Mowing through a bar of honey salt chocolate here, so there seems to be some sort of universal plan for us and our cravings.

This sounds yummy! I shall definitely check them out!

Rain is so underrated. I’d take it over a scorching hot 32°C day any day.

That chocolate sounds glorious, and this was a most excellent treat.

Holy ginger, Batman. That’s primarily what I taste here with an afterthought of cinnamon. I shook up the bag before measuring out the tea but I must have gotten a lot of ginger in my measure. The black tea base seems well suited to the spices, though. All in all, if you like ginger, this is a pretty good chai! Thanks for the chance to try, The Teaguy!

I tried this straight first, but I’m just one of those people who thinks spiced tea is meant for sugar and milk. So I added a couple teaspoons of sugar which did even out the spice somewhat and a couple tablespoons of cream.
