Mmm… I think one of my favorite smells is the aroma of a buttery oolong. Mmm this is very buttery with a thick mouth feel. It has a sweet buttered vegetable thing going on but the dominate taste is butter. Almost like really buttery peas. I love this oolong.
This is one of the most interesting teas I’ve had (not that I have had a ton). Smells like dulce de leche, which would normally put me off but I went with it on a recommendation. Glad I tried it! It has a strong buttery, caramel taste without the sweetness on the first infusion. With each infusion, the caramel taste mellows out with a peach/nectarine aftertaste. Despite all the sweet notes, there is something vegetal? earthy? grassy? to be found in this tea which rounds it out nicely. Very tasty.
