The 2021 Cha Shan Mao Feng is in and it’s better than last year.
The flavors of last year are all present. There is a soft but fully savoriness, balanced vegetal notes like cooked edamame, all with an orchid aroma. Compared to last year though the flavors are more balanced. There is more freshness and structure to the flavor. The good weather we had this year did a lot for the tea.
This year I will offer little of each pick time.
The earlier picks will be more complex and sweet, but more subtle.
As the pickings go on the flavors will grow more bold and in the later picking a touch of bitterness will be present.
All teas are made with true craftmanship so you are getting a good flavor no matter what you order .
