Paddled 7 or 8 miles on a windy lake yesterday . Headwind going out and unhelpful tailwind coming back, in a very light boat that just wanted to blow all around the lake… Not fun! Was miserably tired and sore last night. Feeling surprisingly functional, but not exactly energetic, this morning.

This herbal blend is becoming a standby. No idea if it works, but i have made turmeric milk to soothe earaches/sore throats before. It is said to have strong anti-inflammatory properties. The taste is warming, sweet, but not spicy. Seems like it would go well with a coconut curry sauced dish…

I had this cuppa with an orange ginger coconut macaroon, from a local bakery. It was a perfect pairing!

Not sure if this works but it is a great warming ginger tea. I really like it a lot, I hope it works since I dance a lot, it would be something great to have for sore muscles. I’m going to try it iced later today :)
