Yet another SoccerMom Gift!!! Woot!!!! :)

This looks like Rishi’s Citron Oolong and almost smells like a lighter version of it too!

After infusing the scent morphs a little bit…sort of smells like lemon pledge meets cheerios….with floral undertones, perhaps!?

The taste is lovely and relaxing with floral and mostly lemon highlights – so glad I got to try this one!

I adore the “lemon pledge meets cheerios…with floral undertones” description. You’re inspiring me to up the creativity of my descriptions! :D

Thanks to my new friend Mike for this tea.

First off, it smelled amazing in the tea filter. Just a wonderful scent of orange & maybe even tangerine? Overall, there is no doubt there is citrus in this tea.

This is my second Oolong tea to try & I have to admit, I am loving oolongs! They are seriously proving to be well worth the money spent as you can get several brews from one little spoonful.

The tea smelled wonderful during the brew of the first cup. I’m at work & had to use a tea filter bag & a few people in the cafeteria this morning wanted to know who was ‘cooking an orange’.

The first cup was warm & inviting & promised a wonderful flavor…it truly delivered! The first cup was gone almost instantly. I had to refill the cup & I’m admitting it freely, I’m on cup #3 right now as this is getting typed! I’m almost sorry I’m being greedy in making so many cups, but I don’t care.

There is definitely a little pick me up for me with this tea. Citrus teas that smell really good when dry often do this for me. I swear I think oranges really do give off some kind of energy boost!

Mike, thank you for sharing this tea. You were right. It is simply delicious!

Mike

I just got into really good teas. I use to buy my tea at the grocery store but not anymore. I go to The Path of Tea and so thankful that I found this place as it has some quality organic teas. The citrus oolong is by far my favorite tea right now. I have a long way to go though.

The tea smells awsome to me with a somewhat strong citrus scent. The taste isn’t as strong with citrus though. Its a good blend with the oolong and makes a good cup of tea should you like a citrus blend.

I actually like mixing the citrus oolong with their organic matcha. That combonation is awesome and gives you a little kick of enery and I find helps me stay focused throughout the day.

I hope this helps but I’m still such a newbie and I still have much to learn and a lot of different teas to drink!

From TeaEqualsBliss, who apparently got it from SoccerMom. It’s fun watching these teas head down the line!

I make no secret of my trepidation around flavoured oolongs, but this smells delightful. Light and citrusy. It blends well together, and the citrus is nice and clean. The choppy oolong leaves are hard to pick out in the flavour, but that may work in this blend’s flavour. I’m not excited by this tea, but I am also not disappointed, so for a flavoured oolong, well done!

My morning sip today. The leaves smell invigorating and happy. Very citrus. I steeped about 5g in 8 oz for 4 min at 195.
Sipping hot, it’s so relaxing and there’s definitely the citrus. No astringency whatsoever. However there is not a lot of traditional oolong at the forefront. When hot the citrus is front and center…Not overpowering. Actually very very calming.
As it cools the oolong starts to come to the front. It’s a beautiful combination. A light citrus note with a sweet grassy flavor. I feel like I’m drinking a summer field…in February.
A delightfully calming and happy cup!

Nice Organic Citrus Oolong. The Citrus doesn’t seem to over power the oolong it’s a nice cup.
