This tea is from a small group of trees in Yiwu State Forest that were discovered in 2004. Since then they’ve been bought in their entirety by a single buyer, who is now planning to retire. We’ve known him for about 5 years and he offered us the chance to take over this garden. The trees are close to Guafengzhai’s ‘Leng Shui He’ tea garden, but bigger and most importantly they haven’t been overpicked. We’ve tasted this tea over the past few years, and always loved it, but never thought we’d have the chance to buy this tea.
We’re very happy to be able to offer this. The tea is thick, refined and strong and buzzing with energy. It’s not cheap but I think this is the best tea we’ve ever pressed!
