Shui Xian tea is from the family of Wuyi Teas (also known as Cliff Tea or Rock Tea) which includes the famous Da Hong Pao (Big Red Robe) teas. The leaves are roasted every 5 years which deepens the complexity of the flavor.
This 20 year old Shui Xian is very rare and very high quality, picked from a 100 year old tea bush! The leaves are dark in color and are long and twisted. Because the leaves have been heavily roasted, this tea is very smooth and mellow with a bright golden color and a soft, sweet taste. If you like Wuyi tea, this is a must!
