From The Chinese Tea Shop (Vancouver, BC)

This is a big Pu-Erh tea cake with weight of 965 grams. The tea has been keeping in Vanvouer for more than six years. It is Vancouver dry storage. The tea leaves plucked from wild, old trees. But you won’t get a very strong taste, because it is mainly picked with tender leaves. The dry leaf is in light green colour and has flowery fragrance. The colour of the tea soup is in between green and orange. The tea has flowery and fruity aroma in mouth. An honey sweet taste found. The taste is delicate but still complex sweet taste.

an awesome tea!

when i smell the leaves dry, they smell nice and musty.

when i smell the leaves wet, they smell like strong spices

when i smell the brewed tea, i smell strong spices with some honey.

when i taste the brewed tea, i taste strong spices and mild honey tastes.

i rate this a 100 because its not as strong as Daniel said it was, but it’s still nice tasting.

many thanks to Daniel Lui and his Vancouver, BC Chinese tea shop for selling me this awesome tea. :D
