From The Angry Tea Room

Fall Foliage season: golden rays of sun, a soft coat of mist covering fields and forests in the mornings, slowly falling leaves… The apples are harvested and we get to taste the first cider. Deliciously fresh apple wine – already with a hint of autumnal spices. Served hot, it is perfect for those who are not yet ready to wear a winter jacket.
This tea is caffeine free.

8 oz. boiling (212°) water
Steep for 3- 5 minutes

Thanks for the sample with my order, Angry Tea Room! This is a lovely herbal blend. Lots of colorful ingredients — you could almost put them in a clear jar and gaze at them on a shelf. There are two types of apple here — I noticed one big apple slice with the skin… also a big piece of cinnamon. I used two teaspoons because the ingredients were so big. The flavor is on the lighter side, even with a five minute steep just after boiling. The brew results in a light pink color, so the hibiscus doesn’t do TOO much damage (at least in my two teaspoon serving anyway). The lovely cup definitely had an apple cider flavor going on — apple as the strongest flavor, slightly tangy from the hibiscus, and slightly spicy, mostly licorice from the anise. To make it even more flavorful, you could use three teaspoons… Overall, this is an acceptable tea — less flavor but not overwhelming hibiscus is good enough for me!
Steep #1 // 2 teaspoons for full mug // just boiled // five minute steep
