Sipdown!

One of my favourites is Vanilla Black by Capital Tea Ltd (based in Canada). Not quite sure what you are thinking in terms of decadent, but Capital Tea is awesome with a good variety of fine quality teas and with the exchange rate going in your favour, it is well worth giving them a try. Order a bunch and get free shipping.

Rosehips

That sounds good! And there are other teas I’ve heard of/look interested from them.
Thanks for the advice! I am always looking for good vanilla blacks.

Evol Ving Ness

To be clear, it is this company. I like their naturally flavoured mango black too. http://www.capitaltea.com/shop/home.php?cat=14

There are few things I enjoy more than a great vanilla tea. Unfortunately, this is not that. It’s ho-hum, drinkable but totally forgettable vanilla tea. A bland Ceylon base with a light, slightly artificial vanilla flavor. It’s not bad, but definitely not something I’d re-purchase. Give me Tippy’s Not So Vanilla or Indigo’s Vanilla Black over this one any day!

Day #13! Basically any vanilla tea that I would want to stock up on MUST have vanilla pieces in the blend, and I don’t think this one does. It’s another one with a Ceylon base, and the barely there vanilla flavor doesn’t make this blend anything special… Also, I might be getting hints of mint from some sort of flavor contamination in the Advent Calendar? I can’t see how as all of the teas are in tins. Luckily there are plenty of better teas at Angry Tea Room.

I picked up this tea at the tea festival the other day. This tea is decent but nothing spectacular. It sounded good when I bought it. But the vanilla flavor comes off tasting a little artificial. There’s another note to this tea a fruity note. that note is nice. In short I have mixed feelings about this tea. It’s not great but it’s not terrible. So far I don’t have much positive to say about the Angry tea Room. Their Detox Blend was pretty bad and this one is just ok, not by any means incredible. I don’t remember what I paid for this but it wasn’t expensive.

I brewed this one time in a 16oz Teavana Glass Perfect Tea Maker/Gravity Steeper with 3 tsp leaf and boiling water for 3 minutes 30 seconds.
