From Teerausch

Mate tea is considered the traditional drink of South America. The dried leaves of the mate bush are cut into small pieces and served as a caffeinated infusion drink. In addition to the mate, the Mate Pineapple Mango also contains candied pineapple and mango pieces as well as exotic mangosteen peel. In this way, the slightly tart taste is enhanced with a sweet and fruity note.

Tip: Mate Pineapple Mango is also very suitable for preparing a tart-sweet iced tea concentrate.

Mate, mango pieces (mango, sugar, acid: citric acid), pineapple pieces (pineapple, sugar, acid: citric acid), citrus peel, mangosteen peel, flavoring, sunflower petals

Water temperature: 100 °C – Amount: 1 teaspoon per cup – Brewing time: 5-10 min.

2023 sipdown no. 23

This tea is really tasty. It throws me off a bit as there’s a floral-esque scent, but a tropical floral? It’s hard to describe.

Hot: The taste itself is like biting into a merge of pineapple and mango — very juicy and delightful.

Cold: The cold taste was similar, but there was a slight edge of bitterness that I didn’t expect. I may actually prefer this one hot.
