Too many flavors in this one. I prefer MateVana for a chocolaty morning tea. It doesn’t have as many added flavoring. I do like the flavor of this tea but sometimes it can be bit a bit too much. Very rich.

I’m undecided on this tea. I like the flavor sometimes but it’s a little bit odd. It’s sort of chocolaty and nutty and has a strange orangey flavor. I love it for mornings because of the caffeine kick but I guess I just don’t love the flavor.

I had higher hopes for this one, but didn’t find it completely off putting. It was okay. The flavor was a bit weak for a mate, but I finished out the two ounces from Teavana without too much trouble.

Definitely get the cocoa from the aroma, both before steeping and after. The smell isn’t over the top, very subtle. Fairly plain taste to me though, perhaps I didn’t use enough leaves to steep with. I’ll have to try it a little different the next go around.

Yummmm is all I can think of at the moment. I can just hover over the mug of steaming tea and take in the spicy chocolate aroma. I drink at least 24oz of this for my morning routine, goodbye coffee.

Having trouble deciding whether I want to buy more of this one, or Matevana instead when I run out. This is very tasty, I would drink it all day if I didn’t think the caffeine would keep me awake at night. Either my palate isn’t sophisticated enough, though, or the extra flavors just don’t shine through at all (i.e. cornflower petals and safflower). Regardless, this is a must-have for my morning routine, I drink it iced (along with my coffee, which I just can’t give up).

This is the tea that made me “cross over”. Two ounces taste test of this, had me back at the store the next day to buy a large canister! I haven’t had coffee since.

Once you get past the fact that this isn’t weak coffee, you can begin to enjoy it as a very flavorful tea. I tend to use 2 tsp. instead of the 1-1/2, and it works for me. Very little sugar, and I’m good to go!

Really good with milk. It’s nice for when my stomach and/or pallet isn’t feeling up for coffee in the morning.

Started with this tea this morning. Picked it up on the suggestion of the tea guy behind the counter as it was the best way to “kick coffee”. He also told me to steep it for at least 6 minutes, which is way longer than any other tea I have ever made. I don’t think that was a bad choice at all. I added 3 tsp of the tea along with 2 tsp of rock sugar. This tea is amazing! Very rich and full of chocolate flavor, but not in a sweet way but more of a dark and smoky kind. There is a sharpness that lingers on the my tongue that I just can’t place. I can’t wait to find out what this is. The guy behind the counter also suggested trying it with about 1 part water and 1 part milk to give the tea an even richer taste. I will have to give this a try to see if he is right about this one as well.
