From Teavana

This rose-colored blend is created from a pairing of luscious strawberries and peaches with sweet floral hibiscus, rose hips and jasmine green tea pearls.

Fragrant hints of jasmine mix lightly with sweet peach, strawberry, and kiwi.

Use 1-1.5 tsp of tea per 8oz of water. Heat water to 175 degrees (79 degrees Celsius) and steep for 2 minutes. For stronger flavor, use more tea leaves. 2oz of tea equals 25-30 teaspoons.

Ingredients: Jasmine Dragon Phoenix Pearls green tea, green rooibos, hibiscus flowers, apple pieces, rose hip peels, kiwi pieces, peach pieces (peach, rice flour), artificial flavoring, strawberry pieces, marigold petals

This is my fourth 2 oz envelope of this tea. As I have been ordering and drinking this tea, I have noticed that it has definitely gone downhill. This went from my favorite tea to being just sorta MEH. It barely has a peach flavor and fragrance, and even though green tea is the first ingredient, it is a very weak green tea; and that’s using 2 teaspoons, not just 1!

Also, the ingredients listed on this page are incomplete. I am looking at the label on an envelope right now and they are: Jasmine Dragon Phoenix Pearls green tea, green rooibos tea, hibiscus flowers, apple pieces, rosehip peels, peach pieces (peach, rice flour), kiwi pieces, strawberry pieces, flavoring (apricot, peach, cream strawberry), safflower petals & marigold petals.

What kind of flavoring? Natural or artificial? Why is there rice flour in my tea? I’m now looking for teas without lots of strange additives.

I liked this tea. It has a fruity and flowery flavor. It was pretty smooth and it is not super picky.

I had this earlier today and it was rather enjoyable. The cup I made up just now? I don’t know if I’ll be able to drink this. bleh.

I believe the problem with this tea, more so than other Teavana teas I have had, it the total inconsistency. The first batch I had was just so wonderful I could hardly do my job at work because I just wanted to smell and sip this delightful tea. I ordered 4 more bags of it and the first one I opened was just terrible. It had very little fruit, mostly just jasmine green tea balls and the rooibos. If I had wanted and expected that mixture I probably would have been satisfied but when you are expecting a fruity flavor, it was very disappointing. I opened another bag and this one was very strong with hibiscus which made it different but not unpleasant for me. Tried a third bag and I was back to a very heavy strawberry and kiwi tea and it again was different but totally soothing and pleasant. Not sure what the 4th bag will be like. I am mixing these three together and since I have gone to the expense of purchasing it, I will drink it. It will not be like the first bag I had that was just truly wonderful, it will be……..something different.

This is one of my favorites. It is perfect hot or iced, and is the perfect drink in the evening when I want something sweet.

Let me just say to those of you who did not care so much for it- this tea WILL be tart/ bitter if you oversteep it or use water that is too hot! 165-175 degrees, and under 1 minute for steep time, and I think you will enjoy it much more. It also does need some sweet for balance, but I use stevia and that works very well. (sweet leaf)

I tried to like this tea but it’s just not for me. I normally don’t care for fruity teas but Teavana had several fruity samples in the store and it made me want one. On top of that, when I asked the guy behind the counter what he thought, he said he “lives off that tea all day.” Ok, sounds good to me!

First of all, there is way too much going on. You’ve got green rooibos, jasmine pearls (which seem like a waste b/c I can’t taste them), hibiscus (which I can’t stand… didn’t realize it was in here when I bought it), and a whole assortment of dried fruit.

The taste is too tart. I do sweeten some of my teas, but never very much. I felt like this needed a ton of sugar to balance the tartness. But then I was left with a super sweet tea, which just isn’t my taste.

If you like strongly fruit flavored teas, this might be nice. Just not my taste. Unfortunately I have close to 2 oz of it (I think I’m done buying from companies that don’t offer smaller quantities). If anyone is interested in a swap, let me know. Just don’t offer me anything with hibiscus! ;)

Prepare to ice—3 tsps./8 oz., 205 degrees, 8 min. Infusion is Hawaiian Punch-pink, very tart (a touch of sugar is a good idea.) Pour over a lot of ice. Refreshing—I like it better this way, so I’m raising the rating a bit.

Absolutely amazing when blended with Strawberry Lemonade. The soft jasmine taste with all that fruit is just beautiful. Lovely!

The tea that got me into jasmine. I admit sometimes I steep at too high a temp and it can get a bit harsh, but honestly it stands up pretty well and the jasmine shines through. Don’t specifically taste the individual fruits – there’s a bit of peach back there, but more of a sweet generic fruitiness. I’m good with it.

I bought this one before I realized that hibiscus just makes me basically ill. And I don’t know if it’s the recipe for this tea or just that I got a hibiscus heavy batch, but that was truly almost all I could taste. I couldn’t taste any tea at all, and I only occasionally got a little bit of that jasmine tickle where it enters your nose from the back of your throat. I could also taste some berryish flavor, but the hibiscus overwhelmed any ability to discern specifics. I tried to finish it just because I hate wasting money, lol, but this one went down the drain and in the trash.
