From Teavana

Well-balanced myriad of berries: grapes, elderberries, juniper berry, strawberry, red currant, raspberry and blueberries with an elegant balsamic finish

Plump and juicy raspberries, grapes, blueberries and strawberries delicately blend with juniper berries, elderberries and red currants, softened with rose petal and hibiscus flower kisses. We then finish with a culinary classic from Modena- a sweet Balsamico Vinegar, creating a cup of pure delizioso summer enjoyment.

I’m not much of an herbal drinker, but my husband loves this one so I thought I’d try it for an evening cup. Teavana’s fruit blends have always been a hit or miss for me. This one is basically like drinking grape juice with just a touch of sweet balsamic vinegar added. Sounds weird but it really works. Also, for some reason, I am so often smelling tobacco with these herbal blends. Not sure what that comes from, maybe the elderberries or juniper?

This was just a really nice blend. I’m sad we won’t be able to get more of it.

I have now brewed this both hot and cold, I must say that I prefer it cold but that isn’t saying much. The dry leaves smell fantastic lifting your hopes up high. The colour is a beautiful read and now your thinking YES this is going to be AMAZING but something falls short. Don’t get me wrong its not bad but its not great either.

The Raspberry notes are there so is the balsamic, maybe its just a bit too bitter for me even with adding in splenda. Just not my cup of tea!

Bought this in a recent purchase to make as iced tea. It is an excellent cold brewed iced tea. It’s got a sweet taste from the raspberries and a sour taste from somewhere. By this I mean a good sour not a bad sour. I would definitely buy this again if I run out.

I steeped this overnight in a 68oz Iced Tea Jug with 8 tsp leaf.

Flavors: Pleasantly Sour, Raspberry, Sweet

Iced 8 tsp 68 OZ / 2011 ML

Almost done with this! Of the three teas I got in store that day (the others being limeade twist and peach tranquility), this one was my least favourite. But it’s still not bad.

And at least Teavana is always on the up and up about their ingredients. I’ve never caught mistakes or missing ingredients like what davidstea does.

I want to dislike Teavana for their prices, but gosh darn their teas are just so good.

OMGsrsly

Sometimes their teas are good. :) There are definitely some that I can’t even bring myself to sniff! (That cucumber and mint one? Ugh no thanks…)

I have only tried this tea hot, but it really tastes like a jolly rancher to me. I don’t know that this is a bad thing, it is just unexpected. I like the idea of a bit of a bite from some balsamic vinegar, but this is not what I had imagined that would taste like. I have a bit of this to play around with, so far it is… Interesting?

Very good tea with hints of sweetness from the balsamic vinegar that is in the tea. Good iced or hot.
