Very disappointed. This would be much much MUCH better if there was no rooibos. That’s all I can taste.

Had this at the store today. It smells like apple and spices, mostly. Then there is the hibiscus, which comes out strongly in the flavour. Should be called hibiscus cider instead. There is a cinnamon scent/ flavour as well. With some cloves.

Overall too sweet, and too much hibiscus.

This smells so good, enough to make me wish Teavana wasn’t overpriced and that their sales tactics didn’t suck. They’re also some drive away from me. Taste wise, holy added sugar batman! Yikes. After sampling mostly straight teas the last few days, this is a little much for me. I was excited by the smell, but all I taste excessive sugar, cinnamon, and a bit of tartness. If I concentrate, maybe a can find some cloves. It’s not horrible, and I’ll finish my cup, but I probably wouldn’t make a trip for this or look for it specifically. I might be more forgiving had they named it Tart Cinnamon Heart, or something. Not a keeper for me.I

I’ve had either really good luck with some Teavana teas (I really like their Pumpkin Spice Brulee) or terrible luck, as with this tea. The worst thing about Teavana’s teas is that they contain the nefarious artificial flavoring, even in teas that really shouldn’t have them like their traditional Earl Grey (it’s a sin against tea to not even use real Bergamot oil in your Earl Grey. I am not too impressed with caffeine-free herbal tea blend, because it hardly tastes like spiced apple cider, maybe some slight intimations of “Apple Cider essence” laced with some artificial flavoring to add an artificial boost. I am so glad this tea was on sale because any tea, featuring artificial flavoring shouldn’t be so steeply priced, in my opinion.

Sipdown again! I got this one as a birthday present in the fall, so it needed to be finished. This one is sweet. Crazy sweet. Oh, wow.

I taste some cinnamon, a bit of apple, and a LOT of artificial-tasting sweetness that I can’t quite pin down a source for. There is no spice to this spiced apple whatsoever. I enjoy this one when mixed with other teas, particularly straight rooibos to dilute the sweetness, but I wouldn’t drink it on its own very often. It’s just okay.

Another one of those weeks where I keep reaching for this tea. I love how strong this tea aroma is but I do wish the cinnamon pieces were smaller so that they could be distributed more evenly throughout the bag. At this point halfway through, I only have 1 chunk of cinnamon left because of that so I’m deliberately avoiding that last stick for now. Or maybe I’ll just add my own.

This kind of tastes like something you should add to apple cider, or a plain tea. On its own, it was all but flavorless except for an artificial “red hots” flavor. I really like the reviewers who called it potpourri water, because that’s really what it was to me. Lovely color, and it was drinkable, which is why I gave it as high of a score as I did. But I won’t be reaching for it anytime soon, if ever. Like another reviewer, this is tea #3 of 4 from Teavana that I’ve tried and disliked. I’m not a tea snob, they just don’t seem to have my taste buds pegged.

This teas is very sweet and cinnamon flavoured. I could taste cinnamon, apple & rooibos. Really quite delicious. It went well with my mandarin I was having. I don’t think I would buy any of this though because the artificial flavouring numbed my tongue a it. Why oh why do companies have to use artificial flavouring??? On top of being bad for everyone, they just don’t agree with me. I think there must be plenty of natural flavourings to work with.

I really didn’t like this tea. This is probably the worst of the four Teavana teas that I bought in the Holiday Pack. The smell and taste was completely cinnamon and spice and no apple flavor whatsoever. It would have been decent if there would have been an apple taste to it. I added the usual extra teaspoon of tea and teaspoon and a half of sugar. Flavor was there but not a flavor I enjoyed.

Omg this tea is amazing! I made it in a latte with some rock sugar and just before I actually did the latte I tought maybe because apples are acidic it wouldn’t be good in latte but i thought I’d try it anyway… AMAZING! I totally love it!
