From Teavana

Tres Bien! This French-inspired flavored oolong tea features luscious strawberries, pink rose buds, crisp rhubarb, white grapes, soft vanilla, and a hint of bubbly champagne. Deliciously romantic, it’s a sumptuous combination that sparkles on the palate, conjuring up dreamy days ambling along Epernay’s rolling vineyards and valleys.

Supposed to be good for your waist line… I’m not sure about this one. Yes, it is fruity, yes, it has some color (light pink in my case), but more like herbal tea…. I think what I don’t like is the taste of hibiscus (it does have it, doesn’t it?) and I’m not a big fan of it. Definitely not my favorite.

This is the first tea I’ve had where, when I poured it out of the teapot, I thought wow that’s some weird looking tea water. Dirty water. Good thing it tastes and smells good. I think this is more herbal than it is Oolong though. And herbal Oolong? That doesn’t make any sense…

It’s currently raining outside so this is helping me think of sunshine.

While the flavour isn’t bad, it just tastes like warm juice instead of tea. Apparently I am starting to love straight oolong instead of flavoured ones!

I picked this tea up while it was on sale at my local Teavana recently for about $8/2 oz. I really like the light flavor of this tea especially for early summer mornings, though I’m not sure if I’ll restock this tea yet at its usual price of $12.

I’m not sure why I’m drinking this. It tastes alright, but is not my favorite. I do not think I’ll buy again, mainly because there are better teas out there and not because it tastes bad. I’ve only tried it iced; maybe I should try it hot? I also taste zero oolong in the brew and really wish that I did.

Teavana used to have this tea brewing in the store it made the place smell amazing. I tried a sample and I didn’t care how much it was, I had to bring it home. It is on the expensive side, but I didn’t care. It is hands down the best tea and I’ve never had anything as delicious. I’m saving my last teaspoon for a day when I need a good cup of tea. Or I’ll just go out and buy more.

I had this tea brewed with Teavana’s Peach Tranquility herbal tea. It had a pleasant, mild flavor (not personally my favorite) but quite enjoyable. It was one of my favorite herbal teas, but I usually prefer black tea varieties over milder teas. I couldn’t really taste the Oolong; the strawberry overpowered that flavor undertone.

Ok, so I was stupid. I tasted Strawberry Rose Champagne/Peach Tranquility blend in Teavana, fell in love, but only bought the Peach Tranquility. Recently, I bought this tea, thinking I could make my own blend. WRONG! It tasted nothing like the one brewed in Teavana, so I have some tweaking to do. But, this tea has a VERY strong rose scent and taste. It steeps a light amber liquor, but the taste, ugh, even though I sweetened with a little brown sugar, the rose is the dominant flavor of this tea and I am not a fan of roses, unless they’re black. I daresay the tea even smells like cheap rose attar or an old lady’s face cream. Blech! This definitely needs to be blended well and with something else.

The smell of this tea was overwhelming. Too fruity and flowery, like a perfume. It’s taste was mild but left an aftertaste I can only imagine a lavender soap would taste like.

This is one of my new favorite teas, I love how the tea isn’t overly flowery. I do wish it had more of a strawberry flavor, but just a hint more, overall a very good tea <3
