Great Canadian Travelling Tea Box

Wow, I’m really enjoying this one! It’s really light, slightly floral (due to the jasmine), slightly fruity. It smells pretty peachy but doesn’t smack you in the face with peach! I added a touch of sweetener which really brought out the fruity notes. I love jasmine and I am a fan of white teas due to the health benefits and the low caffeine content.

I was originally put off because one of the reviewers said it tasted like chateau blanc which is basically expensive grape juice, but it’s not anything like that to me. Yum.

Tempted to grab the rest of this.

Another one:)
Meh. It is an ok tea. The taste kind of reminds me of Chateau Blanc, though (Least at the moment.) It tastes better then that one. Would I get this again? At this time I am leaning towards ‘no.’ But as always I could change my mind.

I got this just becuase it had silver needle in it. And because it’s delicious iced. It’s light and fruity with lovely floral notes.

I’ve been gone. New laptop. No Steepster icon. Just wasn’t one of the things I was clicking every five seconds :)

I like this tea, but the jasmine isn’t an undertone. It’s pretty strong. The strawberry is very nice and it’s fruity and floral. It’s a nice white tea.

To Life / Moroccan Mint

Not a big fan of the Moroccan mint (trying to use it up) Mixing with “To Life” makes it more palatable ;-)

This is one of my all-time favorite teas. The jasmine does come through well, but it is equally matched by a fruity essence (no single fruit dominates). Having read the list of ingredients, I never would have thought it would all blend together so very nicely, but it does :)

This is very similar to Cancer Fighting Tea by the Georgia Tea Company (maybe identical?)

I bought this tea so that I could get my purchase to 500g and get 10% off. It was definitely not my first choice and I think I actually meant to get spice of life, but asked for this one instead. It didn’t smell too bad in the store, not a strong smell. The taste is the same, very weak on the flavour. All I taste is the rooibos and an aftertaste I get with all rooibos teas. There is also a faint fruity flavour but it doesn’t taste like any particular fruit. A lot of reviews say this tea is heavy on the jasmine but I didn’t find that.

Ah…I’m honestly not sure what I did here. Normally this is one of my favorites. It just doesn’t taste right. I may have overbrewed it, because it tastes a little burnt. It’s still pretty good, but…eh?

A close family friend passed away today. My father got to the hospital fifteen minutes after he died, but had already been to visit yesterday, so he’d already seen him and said his goodbyes. My mom was home with me when we got the news. Tea is… a comfort to both of us, and so I suggested making a cup and immediately thought of this. Especially with the name, it seems… fitting for today.

It’s mild, and an interesting mix of flowery and fruity. The overall combination actually reminds me a little of grapes, though there’s none in there. There’s a lot in it, and yet I don’t find it busy — it actually comes forth simple but layered, and completely different than what I’d think with the independent ingredients.

One of my all-time favorites! It’s got the Silver Needle in it, so it’s super smooth, and the strong jasmine that I love. Very mild and good for bedtime, and it’s got white tea in it too, so I drink this constantly. :)
