It’s been a while since my last experience with Teatulia Teas. I’m so happy to be re-introduced to them again!

This is a nice medium brown color and medium black tasting tea. I agree with the previous reviewer saying this is very clean tasting. It does seem to energize me – maybe because it’s just a nice even type black tea. Not a lot of fuss but still true black. There is a bit of maltiness towards the end of the sip. I like this!

I should probably mention that this is the Loose Leaf. I have a bagged sample as well but haven’t tried it yet.

Tasting this tea this morning – courtesy of TeaEqualsBliss ~ Thank you so much!

This is a pleasantly brisk tea but not as bold as I was expecting. This tea is quite smooth with hints of sweetness. Very little bitterness, although I do notice just a touch about mid-sip, but the tea recovers with a sweetness in the finish.

This tea is brisk but not super astringent so it’s just my speed. I’m going to have to try this one iced as well. The leaves really are beautiful, they’re elegantly long and twisted.

It’s a beautiful tea with long leaves that you can watch unfurl as you tumble boiling water into your glass. The tea is a wonderful amber-orange color, with a very smooth and clean taste. The recommended brew time is two minutes, but I left the teabag inside while I enjoyed my cup. I normally find this makes black tea too bitter but Bengal Breakfast is simultaneously bold and mild and there is the slightest hint of silky sweetness in the aftertaste. I have been looking for a good AM tea and whereas Teatulia’s Neem Nectar was a little too sharp for me, Bengal Breakfast is perfect.

This is one of my favorite teas of 2010 — great combined with lemon/ginger infusions or on its own! Some may want to add a dab of sugar, but I prefer mine black!
