Thank you to VariaTEA for this sample!

While this does oversteep if left for too long (gets too acidic and acrid), I really enjoyed having a unique caffeine free blend that was completely different from anything else in my collection.

There are definite flavours of apple, lime, citrus, hibiscus, goji berry? some sort of berry I can’t identify, fruit, and mint. I also tasted notes of cream, berries, herbs, and lemon. I thought the mint was a bit odd in a fruity blend, but overall it was still nice to try. I would probably brew it cold/iced in the future if I ordered it again.

Did I send you something minty that infected this cuz I don’t remember mint. I will have to look for it next time I try this.

this is super limey. it’s like a lime popsicle versus the creamy lime ice cream like lime tea. I actuallt really enjoyed it, once i thought of it as gelaot/popsicle and stopped thinking of it with a cream base hahaha i’d pick this one up again – think it would be super refreshing over the summer. (thanks variatea!)

This certainly isn’t DAVIDs Lime Gelato tea but it actually has a pretty realistic lime flavor. This isn’t the sweet and creamy tea that I expected thanks to the DAVIDs version but rather it tastes a bit like drinking lime juice, tart but bright. I don’t know if I would call this “gelato” though. Perhaps it is more of a sorbet? I think that is how the peppermint is playing into this. It is not coming through in flavor but rather giving a cooling effect to help perpetuate the frozen dessert/sorbet element. It’s interesting how these elements are all coming together so nicely and I am really enjoying this cold brew, even if it is not exactly what I was expecting.

That sounds tasty. I’ve found I rather like lime teas.
