This one is definitely a bit past its prime.

I know at one point this was an orange spice sort of tea, but now it just tastes like clove with a bit of cinnamon mixed in. I’m not the biggest fan of clove to begin with, so I don’t see any reason to keep the remainder around.

Sorry, tea! At least you were inexpensive.

I should look into getting another orange and spice type of tea, it is a lovely combination.
Any recommendations?

I’ve been trying to drink down some small samples I have of tea today. So far, I feel I have not had a great cup of tea today but nothing really bad either.

This one was very spicy and fruity when I opened the bag. It’s got notes of nutmeg, clove, and maybe cardamom? There’s also good citrus notes from the orange. The tea base of black tea is very mild (which is okay with me – not being a black tea lover). This is definitely a good tea for a cold autumn day. Instead it is a cool summer day today but I am still enjoying the tea.

Loved this hot last fall when I first tried it, put a few notes on the pouch that simply said: “Very good, Nice Spice, Try Iced.” I was overloaded with chai tea blends at the time, and put it away, only to have it resurface this week. I used the remainder of the pouch to make a full pot of tea a few days ago for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised by green cardamom pods and other spices that blend so nicely with the Sri Lankan black tea base. I reserved enough to have iced later in the day and it was excellent. Invigorating and refreshing.

This was my evening tea to help me stay awake while I plowed on in the manuscript. Tasty. Spicy warm. I think this is a fall tea, not a spring tea. I have a friend who LOVES this tea. At the moment it is her very favorite, go-to tea. I don’t love it as much as she does, but it certainly is tasty. Wonder what it would be like iced?

One of my new, favorite teas. I’m generally middle-of-the-road about spice teas, but this one hints at vanilla (even though I don’t see that ingredient suggested) that is like a middle note that ties together and slightly tones down the high notes of spice and citris with the low notes of black tea.

This came in my first Steepster select box. I haven’t tried many black teas because of the caffeine. I woke up with a terrible headache today and wanted something with caffeine. It smells divine! I brewed just like the package suggested in my Breville one touch. I did add creme and sugar to this one. It has a heavier mouthfeel similar to coffee. This certainly goes in my top 5 favorites so far!! It has a hint of a spicy fruit in it. But not a fruity tea. I taste clove and possibly nutmeg- fall flavors. This taste like Autumn!

This is the first tea that I have tried from my steeper select shipment. From opening the bag to steeping the tea, the spicy aroma of cloves, citrus, and an array of other fall-like aromas fill my nose. This was a nice and sweet compliment to the poached pear and popcorn I decided to consume while drinking it. The re-steepings in my teapot were not as sweet. For cold mornings, this could be better than a chai to warm me up.

Really liked this tea and the blooming aroma from the tea pouch, the teapot, and the cup itself. Felt like a great fall tea and really enjoyed the orange rind that added to the aesthetic.
