From Teas Etc

Chrysanthemum Silver Needle Organic

Used for centuries in traditional chinese medicine as a means to balance qi, Chrysanthemum flower is known for its internal cooling properties that help to tonify and harmonize the body.

Bai Hao white silver needle
(yinzhen) tea is also thought to have significant cooling elements so the combination is a powerful tonic that may aid in relieving acid reflux and lowering internal heat in the body.

Understated, the mellow, earthy character is pleasing. You may also want to try our Chrysanthemum Blossom without the white silver needle tea for those times when caffeine just won’t do.

Chrysanthemum Silver Needle Organic Tea Type: White Tea

Yay! My second Teas Etc. order arrived today! I immediately steeped this one. Some quick impressions (because I’m supposed to be working):

This tastes like sunshine! So bright and sunny. It’s immediately uplifting. I imagine running through a meadow at springtime like Laura in Little House on the Prairie.

It’s a beautiful day here (a strange but cool combination of sun with intermittent rains) and I’ve been feeling good today so this matches nicely. :)

YUM! It’s a great pairing. I wouldn’t usually want to mix Silver Needles with anything, but this works.

It has this dry and clean taste, and I mean that in a very good way. The earthiness of the flowers really compliments with brightness of the tea. There is some depth in the tea, but it not overly complicated or picky. I usually shy away from floral teas, but this one keeps my attention more than others.

This is a weekend teas. When I have errands or work to do at home, I’ll brew up a big pot and drink it all.
