I did not enjoy this at all. The steep time was two minutes, or so the tea barista said… so I am curious to see how I would have liked it with a one minute infusion. Maybe then it wouldn’t have been bitter!! bitingly so. except it wasn’t bitter in an “oversteeped” way and it wasn’t thick the way oversteeped tea gets.
Oh and the caramel just made the tea taste greasy, like toast that’s been over buttered. Also… where was the apple???
I generally enjoy the second steep of teas much better, but with a takeout tea that isn’t really an option. For that reason, I’m not sure this rating is fair but it’s what I have for now. Bah!!

I had a very similar (or the same) blend from Necessiteas quite a while ago, and it tasted worse than the vilest of medicines. I guess this might be a universal problem with this blend?

hmmm I fear you are right, as I’ve been struggling to find an apple tea I enjoy as well, no matter the base!

The Candy Apple black from Adagio is terrible as well, though now I’ll be slipping some into your package when I get around to sending it. Not that there’s any rush right now, though >.<. I just want my permanent resident card!

I’ve had two cups of this and I’m still not sure what I think. On both, I didn’t like it on the first sip or two and then got into it but by the end was finding it too sweet. It is tasty but I’ll have to give it a try when I’m in a different mood. The caramel is pretty spot on with some hints of fruitiness.

This is a great tea for flavoured green tea lovers! At first I was thrown off by how sweet it was, but when it’s steeped nice and hot it is very yummy. Brings back memories of caramel dipped apples – but the healthy version!

The only way I would like this tea is if it is steep for about a minute. I found it really bitter and couldn’t find any traces of caramel just wasn’t the most pleasant cup of green tea. On a more positive note I liked the taste as it cooled down and i added agave to take away the bitterness and it was much better !

I’m not quite sure about this one. One sip I enjoy it, and the next I don’t. It smells of apples and that grassiness I love with green teas. The taste is quite bitter on the tongue the moment you sip, but it disappears quickly. Crisp, fruity undertones of apples and pears with a slightly burnt note from the caramel. I enjoyed the fact that this tea basically tasted like Autumn. Not in the apple pie and cinnamon way, but the wet leaves and rain way. And I mean that in the best way. It brings back memories of apple picking in the soggy, leaf stricken ground and warm sweaters! Overall it was an ok tea, but I wouldn’t drink it on a daily basis due to the bitterness!
