From Tealux

This refreshing blend consists of peppermint and Hojicha, a roasted Japanese green tea. There’s no flavoring involved, but the peppermint leaves pull chocolate notes from the roasted tea, resulting in a taste and aroma reminiscent of those cookies that we all know and love. Hojicha is naturally lower in caffeine than other green teas, while peppermint aids with muscle relaxation and digestion. Together they create a warming, tawny taste that is relaxing when hot and refreshing when iced. This brews into a clean, amber liquor with an inviting smell. The roasted green tea creates a nutty base that is brightened by the vibrant peppermint leaves.

185 degrees 1-2 tsp 2-3 mins

Mint? check. Chocolate? yeah, no so much. If there was even a hint of chocolate i’d be trying this again but right now it’s just an average boring cup of mint tea. So, i’m going to pass this off to another, to see if they can make it work for them!

Psssssst sample?

Spreadsheet it so I remember! You do know you have your own box at my house now right? Lol.

Score. I was contemplating starting you your own tonight. But I don’t have the time/energy to sort through and find anything right now. Once I move and have more space to organize, I will figure out a better system or something.

I took a thermos of this to work today. Ended up drinking it lukewarm throughout the afternoon. Really good. The peppermint complements the roasted green tea
perfectly.

This one is going on the re-order list. I hope Butiki’s Peppermint Patty is as good (or better), as I’d like to drink a non-caffeinated version before bed.
