I am beginning to think that tealux (not tealuxe) is a company i can scratch off my list. There haven’t been too many of their teas so far that have blown me out of the water and there is something just slightly “off” about them.

While i don’t get the hatred that IB had for this one, i can understand her dislike. My cup tastes more like blueberries but it’s in the aftertaste not in the initial sip or the aroma. Maybe it’s just the greens that they haven’t quite figured out. Tomorrow i’ll try some of the blacks and see how that goes.

Kittenna

I like their selection of straight teas at reasonable prices for samples, so I suspect I’ll make another order with them because of that. I’ve liked some of the flavoured teas I’ve had, but they weren’t crazy awesome or anything, but then again, that only happens with a select few companies. I’m just happy that everything is sample-sized!

OMGsrsly

I haven’t actually tried any of their flavoured teas, so I’ll keep this in mind. :)

Sil

Yeah…so far more miss than hit, kinda like adagio for me lol but sample sizes at reasonable prices make me super happy, ESP since we split the order to get free shipping

Do. Not. Like.
All I can taste is some sort of artificial, biting, cloyingly sweet and very odd note. I think that may be the Senna leaf, as it’s the only ingredient I don’t know the taste of.
Senna, I believe, is dominating the entire cup. Nope. No blueberry, tea of any kind, or any other note is around. Ok well maybe a hint of blueberry but it’s really hard to find!
ETA: I gave the rest of my cuppa to Dad and he thought it was some sort of ginger cherry blend! and that it’s really weird.

I almost never like anything that is ‘blueberry flavored’.
The smell alone knocks me over. They are always so phony smelling. Real blueberries, which I love, never smell or taste like that.

Meanwhile, Senna is a bitter medicinal herb, notably known for its profound purging effect, if you know what I mean!
You might want to stay close to the restroom…

Indigobloom

I know what you mean, I feel the same way about melon. I love blueberries and blueberry tea but can’t stand blueberry added foods (like yogurt or danishes). I think it’s a texture thing.

Indigobloom

Luckily I didn’t drink more than a few sips. Wondering if I should warn Dad though… cuz he had some to! Eeep…

Terri HarpLady

LOL! Might wanna mention it to him!
One of my sons used to beg me to buy this one blueberry cereal, he loved it so much. I couldn’t stand the smell of it, & I could smell it all the way up in my bedroom on the 3rd floor every time he opened the box. Plus everytime I bought it for him, my kitchen reeked of that god awful smell. :p

Indigobloom

Haha I definitely will. Or maybe he’ll just blame takeout food… (naw I couldn’t justify not saying something!)
