Oh my gooosh! My TeaLish order came today!
If you get a chance to try this company, I’m in love. Super fast shipping time, free shipping for Canadians over $50, an amazing winter sale and so many unique blends… yes!

This was my first one to try. Mm it was simple but satisfying. The strawberry held it’s own against the chocolate, and I got a bakey smell and taste! The boy thought it was just so-so, but I think this is a nice treat that doesn’t overwhelm the tastebuds.

Thanks Tealish, for amazing customer service!! (They even handwrote a little think you note ^^ ee!)

Daddyselephant

Oooooh, what else did you get?

Daisy Chubb

Oh it’s quite the list, I am so happy ee ^^ Toasty Walnut, milk oolong, patisserie, oh christmas tea, caramel oolong (which based on the reviews I may regret haha) um.. oo fairy dust! a few flowering teas, coconut cream chai and earl grey cream! phew! All under 50 bucks! I’m a happy camper :D

Plunkybug

Wow, good selection! Can’t wait to read more of the tastings.

nomadinjeopardy

I’m looking forward to the reviews, too! I’m liking the Tealish love. They have some great teas.

Daddyselephant

Yay you got Fairy Dust! Everyone should try Fairy Dust nods I’ve not tried their milk oolong, I might have to pick some up on Sunday…

Daisy Chubb

I was going to try it today and resteep all afternoon.. instead I ate a huge lunch and was so full I didn’t drink anything! Silly me, should have tried my Detox tea from Davids.. tomorrow!

This tea is very fun. It looks just like the photo, with big red strawberry chunks and chocolate chips. It also smells totally awesome, kind of like candy but not so cloyingly sweet. I think maybe it smells sweetly bake-y, so I guess I’m getting the “donuts” part.

It’s very tasty and holds up to my hopes, but it’s not out of the ordinary. Chocolate, strawberry, malty black tea. You can’t go wrong with such a combination, really. This made a nice first cup of the day at 5 pm (the horror!).

Daisy Chubb

So happy you reviewed this tea Jessie!
I’m awaiting my first Tealish order and this one is in there, it sounds dependable ^^

nomadinjeopardy

Awesome! I’m glad you’re giving them a try. I haven’t tried too many of their teas (maybe a dozen?) but have been impressed with everything I’ve tried from this one. I live rather close to them and am trying to take more advantage of them. I just picked up a few new teas today. Which others did you order?

nomadinjeopardy

This comment was a bit of a mess! I am tired. I"ve been impressed with everything I’ve tried from them, of course.

Daisy Chubb

haha no worries, it’s 2am so I probably wouldn’t have noticed… anyways I got my order over $50 after the 25% discount, so I got a bunch! Sooo excited. Milk Oolong, oh Christmas tea, toasty almond, fairy dust, earl grey cream.. and probably like 5 others. Since I can’t remember, it will be an exciting surpise lol

Thank you to DaisyChubb for sending me this … this is a tea I’ve wanted to try for a while now, so thank you so much for giving me this opportunity!

This is so yummy! Berry sweet, chocolate-y rich and it has a satisfying baked cake kind of taste to it too. Very smooth, not overly astringent, very rich and delicious. Decadent even.

This is one to add to the shopping list when the holiday season arrives.

Dylan Oxford

Does this tea still exist? I was looking around on their website, and was not having so much with the luck.

LiberTEAS

I think its a seasonal tea, maybe sold out until the holiday season gets closer.

Daisy Chubb

Yeah – they were selling off their 100g tins at half price just after christmas – but hopefully it comes back because it’s a keeper!

OMG! I’m in LOVE!
Daisy Chubb sent this to me and I really think I am going to have to place an order! WOW!!!!

This smells amazing! Berries, chocolate, bake-y/bready – YUM!!!! The jelly donut factor is certainly there! The strawberries and chocolate are terrific and scrumptious! The black tea base is lovely…WOW! It’s also malty and smooth.

There is a lot of wonderful things going on in this tea and I haven’t really felt like this about a “dessert/noveltea” like this in a while. This ranks right up there with Spice Exchange’s Almond Cookie Tea…WOW! LOVE THIS!!!!!

This tea smells really chocolatey dry and I was happy to see bits of chocolate too. It tasted ok, kind of like dark chocolate and also fruit. I totally burnt my tongue so I have enough to try another cup later which maybe I’ll like it more sans injury :p

Stephanie

Hate when that happens

CK

Yes! and you’d think with how many times I burn my tongue with hot drinks/hot pockets/etc. that it’d not hurt soo much everytime. No such luck.

The strawberries. The chocolate. It’s like chocolate covered strawberries… in a small container. It smells so good and it tastes so good. I picked this up at Chapters one day because it was on sale and I wanted to know what Tealish thought “donuts” tasted like. Well… this tea doesn’t taste like donuts… but when the flavour is strawberries and chocolate, it is impossible to feel let down. Well done Tealish. Well done.

Having now tried a handful of Tealish flavours, I can’t help but notice that they all come across a bit same-y to me. The upside of that is that they all taste perfectly pleasant, but nothing stands out to me as being particularly amazing. Like the other Tealish dessert teas I’ve tried, this one has a thin but agreeable generic taste of “sweets”. The flavour reminds me of the smell that wafts up at you when you open a tin of Quality Street. This tea is pleasant but ultimately forgettable; I will enjoy what I have and move on.
